Farming is a conscious choice that defines us and enables us to be fully immersed in the vulnerability and beauty of the environment and landscape that we farm and live.
The farm provides a lifestyle and sense of purpose that is filled with challenges, personal satisfaction, and a connection to nature.
Murray River water gives life to our farm, provides us with our livelihood, and creates enjoyment and relaxing times houseboating, swimming, fishing, camping, boating, that locals call ‘RiverTime’.
We aspire to continue designing our farming systems and products to be circular and make a meaningful contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with a strong focus on Goal 12 Responsible and Sustainable Production, and Goal 12.3 Reduce Food Waste.
Farm
The horticultural business produces premium fresh Jujubes, Quinces, Persimmons, grown under environmental netting to protect the crops and produce premium quality.
We use irrigation and soil moisture monitoring technology and adopt minimal input production methods to grow our fresh produce.
Produce is carefully processed and packed on-farm in a purpose-built, solar powered packaging facility, with all operations certified HARPS, SEDEX, Freshcare.
As owner operators of the farm for the past 25 years we strive to deliver premium produce to our customers and consumers, and know the benefits of growing fresh produce in the Riverland.
Our values of responsible practices and improving sustainability in all that we do is a journey of continuous learning, assessment, engagement, and improvement.
Jujubes, Quinces, Persimmons are supplied in packaging designed to balance sustainable practices, retain nutritional integrity and produce premium quality, and meet our customer’s needs.

YFRESH supplies premium fresh Jujubes, Persimmons, Quinces to the Australian markets and is ready to supply International markets.
Wholesale enquiries welcome, if you require lower quantities than pallet volumes we will connect you to a distributor.
Produce is picked on the farm and immediately cold stored before being packed to customer specifications in our on-farm packaging facility. Packaging formats are available in tray, carton, box, flow-wrap, punnet, or customised, and despatched using cold chain logistics.
YFRESH is HARPS, SEDEX, and Freshcare certified and is committed to premium safe food for our local and global consumers.
Jujubes
Jujubes are a nutritionally dense food ideal for snacking and known for immune boosting properties. They have been significant to Asian cultures for thousands of years and are an emerging crop and food in Australia.
We say they taste like a honey apple and look stunning on the tree as they hang like shiny decorations in clusters on the fruiting branches.
The fresh season is likened to fresh cherry season and creates excitement and demand, while value add jujube product can be consumed all year round in cuisines, as snack food, and even in traditional medicines.
Our fresh Shanxi Li Jujubes are in season over February, March, April.

Quinces
Quinces are a majestic old world fruit with beautiful yellow hues and provide elegant flavours and aromas in many cuisines from around the globe.
As a stunning paste accompanying cheese, to enhancing a Middle Eastern curry, quinces conjure nostalgia, arouse tastebuds, and give a touch of finesse to so many dishes.
Our fresh Smyrna Quinces are available March, April, May, June, July.

Persimmons
Persimmons are an end of season treat! They are bursting with sweet flavour and vibrant orange tones as the Autumn season edges towards the Winter.
This last fruit of the season is stunningly eye catching and ideal for fresh snacking or thinly sliced on a cheese platter.
Our fresh Fuyu Persimmons are available April and May.
